A profile is what Outlook uses to remember the e-mail accounts and the settings that tell Outlook where your e-mail is stored. A new profile is created automatically when you run Outlook for the first time. The created profile runs whenever you start Outlook. Most people need only one profile. However, sometimes you might find it useful to have more than one profile.
For example, you might want one profile for work and another profile for home. Also, if other people use the same computer as you, their accounts and settings can be kept in a separate profile that has a different name from your profile.
You cannot switch between profiles while Outlook is running. To change profiles, you must exit Outlook, and then select the appropriate profile when you restart Outlook.
Important: Profiles in Outlook are similar to identities in Outlook Express but have no relation to hardware and software profiles in the Microsoft Windows operating system.
How To Easily Switch Between Profiles in Outlook:
You cannot switch to a different profile within Outlook. However, if you maintain two or more Outlook profiles that you use regularly, you can configure Outlook so you have the opportunity to select which profile you want to access when you start Outlook.

Make sure Outlook is closed, and open Mail in Control Panel.
Select Show Profiles. For the “When Starting Microsoft Outlook, Use This Profile” setting, select Prompt For A Profile To Be Used.
Click OK, and then restart Outlook to open the Choose Profile dialog box where you can select from the Profile Name list or even create a new profile on the fly.

If you want to set the selected profile as the default, click Set As Default Profile at the bottom of the dialog box before clicking OK. If this check box is hidden, just click the Options button at the right to reveal the Options section.
Multiple Profiles / Multiple Emails In Single Profile? : Note that with Outlook 2010, you can now include multiple e-mail accounts from an Exchange server in a single profile. It used to be that you had to create a new profile for each Exchange account.

The notification area can display both application and system icons. Icons for appli¬cations appear in the notification area for several reasons. Some programs, such as Action Center, are managed by Windows itself and their icons appear periodi¬cally when notifications are pending. Some other types of programs, such as antivirus software, may be configured to load at startup and then run in the background.

You can often enable or disable the display of icons through setup options for the related applications. Windows 7, however, provides a common interface for controlling the display of icons in the notification area. You can specify whether and how icons are displayed on a per-application basis.

To control the display of icons in the notification area, follow these steps:
1. Right-click the taskbar, and then click Properties.
2. On the Taskbar tab, under Notification Area, click the Customize button.
3. If you want all icons to be displayed, select Always Show All Icons And Notifi¬cations On The Taskbar, click OK, and skip the remaining steps.

4. If you want to customize the appearance of icons, clear Always Show All Icons And Notifications On The Taskbar. You can now optimize the notifica¬tion behavior.

Each entry in the left column has a selection menu in the right column with the following options:
  • Hide Icon And Notifications Never displays the icon and notifications
  • Only Show Notifications Displays only notifications
  • Show Icon And Notifications Always displays the icon and notifications
5. When you have finished updating the notification entries, click OK twice.

An interview is a conversation between two or more people (the interviewer and the interviewee) where questions are asked by the interviewer to obtain information from the interviewee. And here we can see the top 9 Interview Questions with possible answers.
1. Tell me about yourself.
Keep your answer to a minute or two at most. Cover four topics: early years, education, work history, and recent career experience. Emphasize this last subject. Remember that this is likely to be a warm-up question. Don't waste your best points on it.

2. What do you know about our organization?
You should be able to discuss products or services, revenues, reputation, image, goals, problems, management style, people, history and philosophy. Let your answer show that you have taken the time to do some research, but don't overwhelm the interviewer, and make it clear that you wish to learn more.

3. Why do you want to work for us?
If you've researched this company then you can say something specific, like "object-oriented relational database technology really turns me on. Show that you have done some research marks you as a self-starter with a solid grasp of the big picture.

4. What can you do for us that someone else can't?
Talk about your record of getting things done, and mention specifics from your resume or list of career accomplishments. Say that your skills and interests, combined with this history of getting results, make you valuable. Mention your ability to set priorities, identify problems, and use your experience and energy to solve them.

5. What do you look for in a job?
Keep your answer oriented to opportunities at this organization. Talk about your desire to perform and be recognized for your contributions. Make your answer oriented toward opportunity rather than personal security.

6. What motivates you?
Money, power and recognition are all basic motivators and they should not be mentioned as they portray a selfish image. Rather “a job well done” &/or “ a challenge." &/or "Interesting work/technology."

7. What important trends do you see in our industry?
Be prepared with two or three trends that illustrate how well you understand your industry. You might consider technological challenges or opportunities, economic conditions, or even regulatory demands as you collect your thoughts about the direction in which your business is heading.

8. Why are you leaving (did you leave) your present (last) job?
Be brief, to the point, and as honest as you can without hurting yourself. Refer back to the planning phase of your job search where you considered this topic as you set your reference statements. If you were laid off in an across-the-board cutback, say so; otherwise, indicate that the move was your decision, the result of your action. Do not mention personality conflicts.
The interviewer may spend some time probing you on this issue, particularly if it is clear that you were terminated. The "We agreed to disagree" approach may be useful.
9. What do you think of your boss?
Be as positive as you can. A potential boss is likely to wonder if you might talk about him in similar terms at some point in the future.

EMERGENCY mode is used when the transaction log for the database has been damaged and no backups are available to restore from. In this case, regular repairs do not work—repairs are fully logged and this cannot occur if the transaction log is damaged.

In SQL Server 2000 and earlier, EMERGENCY mode was undocumented and was used to allow the transaction log to be rebuilt using the undocumented DBCC REBUILD_LOG command. Unfortunately, this procedure became publicized on the Internet but usually without all necessary steps. For this reason, the dev team decided to add a documented and supported method of rebuilding a transaction log and recovering the database in SQL Server 2005. The feature is called emergency mode repair and its mechanism is unchanged for SQL Server 2008.

When the database is in EMERGENCY mode and SINGLE_USER mode, and DBCC CHECKDB is run with the REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS option, the following steps are taken:

1. Force recovery to run on the transaction log (if it exists).
This is essentially recovery with CONTINUE_AFTER_ERROR, in a similar vein to using CONTINUE_AFTER_ERROR with either BACKUP or RESTORE. The idea behind this is that the database is already inconsistent because either the transaction log is corrupt or something in the database is corrupt in such a way that recovery cannot complete.

Given that the database is inconsistent and the transaction log is about to be rebuilt, it makes sense to salvage as much transactional information as possible from the log before it is discarded and a new one is created.
This recovery with CONTINUE_AFTER_ERROR functionality is possible only from within DBCC CHECKDB.
2. Rebuild the transaction log if it is corrupt.
3. Run the full set of consistency checks on the database with the REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS option.
4. Bring the database online.

English is one of the most important languages in the world. It can even be said o be the single most important language. Yes, other languages are important too, but not for the same reasons as English is important. Now, the question is, How can one improve his or her communication skills.

For anything you do in life, a clear goal, vision, adequate motivation, enthusiasm, hard work, discipline and the ability to take risks, challenges are critical attributes. However if you are seeking help in learning English what you require is the key attributes called 'discipline' and 'enthusiasm' with which you can achieve anything you want.

Your enthusiasm is the reason you came to this article. The next test is to be disciplined and follow the suggestions given here.
To Master the communicaiton, you need to learn the usage of English words. Learn the usages from a book namely PRACTICAL ENGLISH USAGE by MICHAEL SWAN published by OXFORD PRESS.
  • 1. First suggestion is to read as much in English as possible. A standard daily English Newspaper and the English Magazines have very good reading material. This will help you gain knowledge on new words and improve your pronunciation.
If you have enough time, read novels and understand. If you don't understand, read it again and again till you find the real meaning of what you are reading.
  • 2. Make more English speaking friends and make a determined effort to speak only in English, even if you keep forgetting words, or tend to stammer or your friends tend to laugh at you. This will require a lot of will power but believe me you will soon improve.
  • 3. Try to learn at least 3 -5 new words and look up the meaning in a dictionary. then try and use these words in your daily work and in your communication. Also Note new words you come across note then down find meaning try to use them remember them.
  • 4. If you still feel that professional help is needed then you will have to attend English speaking classes
  • 5. Read tongue Twisters - This would help you to your Mother Tongue Influence.
  • 6. Stand before mirror and talk in English on any topic - This would remove your stage fear and your improve your fluency.
  • 7. Overcome the inferiority complex that u are not good at English.
  • 8. If u have any grammar books in your box keep them away for a year or at least till  you are confident about your English.
  • 9. Make mistakes boldly and courageously and without fear. But speak only in English.
  • 10. Practice practice and practice
We face the problem of not being able to talk fluently in English due to one basic reason. That we think in our mother tongue and try to express the same in English. You need to practice and think in English to see good results.
Trick: if u are finding difficulty to speak with others in English, practice the same in your mobile on off line. No body will check with you that whether other side anybody is there. But before that mute your ring tone.
English is important because it is, maybe, the only language that truly links the whole world together. If not for English, the whole world may not be as united as it is today. The other languages may be important for their local values and culture.

I am sure these steps would help you a lot. ALL the best.

The iPad has no mouse and no physical keyboard or keypad buttons; the multitouch is a virtual version of buttons and controls that appear on-screen as required for the tasks at hand. Prep your fingers for the following:
  • Flick a finger on the iPad screen to scroll through music, pictures, e-mails, contacts, and more.
  • Tap against the iPad screen to open applications, play songs, choose photos, and so on.
  • Pinch and unpinch to enlarge Web pages and pictures, or to make them smaller. To pinch or unpinch using multitouch, place your thumb and index finger against the iPad screen. Then keeping the thumb in place, drag your index finger to pinch or unpinch accordingly.

THE CENTRE OF THE zombie world is the island of Hispaniola, in the West Indies. Many peasant workers there believe that evil sorcerers called bokors have the power to bring their dead loved-ones back to life as unthinking puppets. The bokors are then said to use these unfortunates as their slaves.

It is true that this Caribbean idea of zombies does exist, and that zombies can be found regularly walking the streets of the islands. Some people know members of their family or friends who have been turned into zombies, and as a precaution many poor peasant workers place heavy stone tablets on top of their loved-ones’ coffins to stop bokors snatching the bodies.

The reality is truly frightening, although it does not involve otherworldly powers. Psychiatric experts agree that the people identified as zombies by Haitian folk do have problems and suffer from a variety of serious mental health disorders. Some commentators have suggested that the idea of zombies was the way in which Haitian culture could explain these naturally unwell people. Others think it is something much more sinister.

It is believed that by using natural, native resources, Haitian bokors can actually induce these mental illnesses. Using a chemical called tetrodotoxin, a nerve agent found in puffer fish, the bokor’s victim can be afflicted with a deep paralysis.

The victim’s family thinks he or she is dead, and so they are buried. The lack of oxygen in the coffin contributes to brain damage, and when the bokor comes to steal the body, the victim is revived using a substance called datura stramonium, or ‘zombie cucumber’, which is also a mind-control drug. Other poisons, like that found in a local cane toad, can be extracted and will act as hallucinogens and anaesthetics on the unfortunate victims. It keeps them in a permanent state of trance, appearing impervious to physical pain, and acts as a warning to other islanders to be wary of the power of bokors.

Windows PreInstallation Environment (Windows PE) 3.0 is a minimal Win32 operating system with limited services, built on the Windows 7 kernel. It is used to prepare a computer for Windows installation, to copy disk images from a network file server, and to initiate Windows Setup.
Windows PE is not designed to be the primary operating system on a computer, but is instead used as a standalone preinstallation environment and as an integral component of other Setup and recovery technologies, such as Setup for Windows 7, Windows Deployment Services (Windows DS), the Systems Management Server (SMS) Operating System (OS) Deployment Feature Pack, and the Windows Recovery Environment (Windows RE).
Most of the information here is taken directly from TechNet.Microsoft.com publically available documentation. Thanks to Microsoft them for their valuable input.
Benefits of Windows PE
Windows PE was created to help OEMs and IT professionals boot a computer with no functioning operating system. In the past, OEMs and IT professionals often used an MS-DOS-based boot floppy disk to start a computer. However, an MS-DOS-based boot floppy disk has a number of limitations that make it difficult to use for pre-installing Windows or recovering existing installations or data. It has:
  • No support for the NTFS file system.
  • No native networking support.
  • No support for 32-bit (or 64-bit) Windows device drivers, making it necessary to locate 16-bit drivers.
  • Limited support for custom applications and scripts.
  • The limitations of MS-DOS-based startup disks led Microsoft to develop Windows PE, which is now the primary Microsoft tool for booting computers with no functioning operating system. Once you boot a computer into Windows PE, you can prepare it for Windows installation, and then initiate Windows Setup from a network or local source. You can also service an existing copy of Windows or recover data.
Because Windows PE is based on the kernel for Windows 7, it overcomes the limitations of MS-DOS-based boot disks by providing the following capabilities:
  • Native support for the NTFS 5.x file system, including dynamic volume creation and management.
  • Native support for TCP/IP networking and file sharing (client only).
  • Native support for 32-bit (or 64-bit) Windows device drivers.
  • Native support for a subset of the Win32 Application Programming Interface (API).
  • Optional support for Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), Microsoft Data Access Component (MDAC) and HTML Application (HTA).
  • Ability to start from a number of media types, including CD, DVD, USB flash drive (UFD), and a Remote Installation Services (RIS) server.
  • Windows PE offline sessions are supported.
  • Windows PE images can be serviced offline.
  • Windows PE includes all Hyper-V™ drivers except display drivers.
This enables Windows PE to run in Hypervisor. Supported features include mass storage, mouse integration, and network adapters.

When you want to get detailed system information or check computer information, you can use the System Information tool (Msinfo32.exe). To access system information: click Start, type msinfo32 into the Search box, and press Enter. You can then view system summaries by selecting the System Summary node. All the configuration statistics provided are collected using the WMI service. [Tip adapted from Windows 7 Administrator’s Pocket Consultant by William R. Stanek]

To browse configuration information for a remote computer:
1. Open the System Information tool.
2. Select Remote Computer on the View menu (or press Ctrl+R). This displays the Remote Computer dialog box.
3. In the Remote Computer dialog box, select Remote Computer On The Network.
4. Type the computer name in the field provided, and then click OK.

The account you use must have appropriate administrator access permissions for the domain or the local machine. If you have other problems obtaining information from a remote system, you may need to check the namespace used by the WMI service.

The System Information tool provides detailed information on several major areas of the operating system:
Hardware Resources
Provides detailed information on input/output (I/O), interrupt requests (IRQs), memory, direct memory access (DMA), and Plug and Play devices. A key area you’ll want to check if a system is having a device problem is the Conflicts/Sharing node. This area provides a summary of devices that are sharing resources or causing system conflicts.

Components
Provides detailed information on installed components, from audio codecs to input devices to universal serial bus (USB) ports. A key area you’ll want to check if a system is having a component problem is the Problem Devices node. This area provides information on components that have errors.

  • Windows Defender works without distracting you. It runs in the background and automatically handles spyware based on preferences that you set. You can use your computer with minimal interruption.
Protection against the latest threats
  • A dedicated team of Microsoft researchers continuously searches the Internet to discover new spyware and develop methods to counteract it.
  • A voluntary, worldwide network of Windows Defender users helps Microsoft determine which suspicious programs to classify as spyware. Participants help discover new threats quickly and notify Microsoft analysts, so that everyone is better protected. Anyone who uses Windows Defender can join this network and help report potential spyware to Microsoft.
  • To help protect your computer from the latest threats, you can choose to have updates that counteract new spyware automatically downloaded to your computer.
Run Windows Defender From The Command Line
Windows Defender includes a command-line utility, MpCmdRun.exe, which can be handy if you want to automate the use of Windows Defender. The utility is located on Windows 7 at %ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe.

The basic usage at the command prompt is:
MpCmdRun.exe [command] [-options]

How can the Windows 7 Credential Manager be disabled? For few people it may seem to be more trouble than it's worth: it caches passwords for network shares but when passwords are changed it doesn't auto update and continually prompts the user. We have to manually go into Control Panel and clear the passwords.
Warning! It is not tough to change the password only when required rather than typing the password each time.
Steps In Disabling Windows Credential Manager
  1. You can just uninstall it from the Programs And Settings.
  2. Besides uninstall Credentials Manager, you can try to change the policy settings:
  1. Open “gpedit.msc”
  2. Go to: Local Computer Policy----Computer Configuration----Windows Settings----Security Settings-----Local Policies----Security Options
  3. Find the policy: Netowrk access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication
  4. Choose the Local Security Settings to “Enable”
Hope it works.

THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE’S infamous association with disappearing boats and aircraft is known across the globe.
Like the Bermuda Triangle, the Devil's Triangle area may be volatile, subject to sudden weather changes and ocean swells not yet understood. Undersea volcanoes are believed to influence the area's sudden environmental changes. Others cite mikakunin hiko-buttai, Japanese for UFOs.

Less well known is an area off the west coast of Japan which has an equally deadly history. It is an area where Japanese sailors fear to voyage; they call it ‘Ma-no Uni’ – the ‘Sea of the Devil’. Legend has it that huge restless dragons surface from their deep shelters to seize any unfortunate passing mariners.

Japanese sailors have often recorded freakish occurrences in the area and talk of hearing terrible noises and seeing awful red lights. They believe one particularly potent creature lives in an immense palace beneath the waves. They call this monster ‘Li-Lung’, the ‘Dragon King of the Western Sea’, and say his lair is decorated with the ships he has captured.

This mysterious zone stretches from western Japan to Yap island in the south and Taiwan to the west. Like the Bermuda Triangle, it is seen as having an aboveaverage number of navigation and communication failures. In truth, this area of ocean bears a remarkable resemblance to its Western cousin. Both areas are known for extreme changes in weather conditions, unexpected fogs, tidal waves, seaquakes and hurricanes, and both have examples of agonic lines, lines upon which a compass needle will point true north and south. Their most unwelcome similarities are the truly horrifying levels of unexplained sinkings and disappearances.

By the late 1940s, the amount of ships being lost without trace in the region lead to the Japanese government declaring the area a danger zone.

In the early 1950s they decided to dispatch a research vessel to study the area. Despite enjoying good visibility and calm seas, the Kiao Maru No.5 disappeared without trace on 24th September 1952. The lives of all twenty-two crew and nine scientists were lost. The vessel has never been found. It has only been in relatively recent years that these incidents of strange disappearances have been reported in the West. To the Japanese, they are regular occurrences which stretch back for centuries and continue to this day.

Whether it is dragons or not, the real evidence behind this ocean’s terrible secret remains on the seabed.

Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Beta (SP1 Beta) contains many updates to improve Windows 7. But if you notice that a hardware device or an installed program has a problem after installing the service pack, or if you just want to remove the service pack from the computer, follow any of the procedures below.

Suggested Method For Removing Windows 7 SP1 BETA
To uninstall using Programs and Features
The easiest way to uninstall SP1 Beta is using Programs and Features. If you've used the Disk Cleanup Wizard since you've installed SP1 Beta, the backup files needed to uninstall the service pack might have been removed from your computer. If that's the case, then use System Restore to uninstall the service pack.
  1. Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Programs and Features.
  2. Click View installed updates.
  3. Click Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB 976932), and then click Uninstall.
If you don't see Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB 976932) in the list of installed updates, or if the uninstall option is disabled, use System Restore to uninstall the service pack.

To uninstall using the Command Prompt
If you've used the Disk Cleanup Wizard since you've installed SP1 Beta, the backup files needed to uninstall the service pack might have been removed from your computer. If that's the case, then use System Restore to uninstall the service pack.
  1. Click the Start button Picture of the Start button.
  2. In the search box, type command prompt.
  3. In the list of results, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  4. Type the following: wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:976932
  5. Press Enter.
To uninstall using System Restore
System Restore will remove any programs and revert any system changes that have been made since you installed the service pack. System Restore will not affect any personal files.
  1. Click the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type System Restore, and then, in the list of results, click System Restore.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Choose a restore point that matches the installation date for the service pack. The restore point will be labelled either Install: Windows Update or Install: Windows 7 Service Pack 1.
  4. Verify the restore point, and then click Finish.
WARNING! Please remember that if you have the Service Pack 1 Beta installed on Windows 7/Server 2008 R2, that you will be Required to uninstall the SP1 Beta before you can install the Final (RTM) version of SP1 when it is released.
Do Not Delete Installed Files Manually Or Using Any Command:
There are some recent Blog posts that describe a command that will completely remove all of the uninstall information for the Service Pack 1 Beta to free up some disk space. Some of these blog posts do not go far enough when describing the consequences of using this procedure.

Just to be perfectly clear, if you use that command to remove the SP1 Beta Uninstall information, you will be required to completely reinstall Windows 7 or Server 2008 R2, or use a complete System Image Backup, created prior to installing the SP1 Beta, before you can install the Final (RTM) version. Please consider this information carefully before using any other method or command that is not mentioned here in this post.

The Apple iPad neatly combines an audio and video iPod, an e-book reader, a powerful Internet communications device, a handheld gaming device, and a platform for apps. Most of the time, your iPad behaves itself, but every so often it doesn't.
Here's a quick review of things you can try if your iPad isn't working the way you expect:
1.Restart your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button, and then slide the red slider to turn it off. Wait a few seconds. Press the Sleep/Wake button to turn on the iPad again.

2.Force any frozen applications to quit.
Press and hold the Home button on the front of the iPad for 6 to 10 seconds. Then restart it (see Step 1).

3.Reset your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button while you press and hold the Home button at the same time. This forces your iPad to restart.

4. Reset iPad settings.
Tap the Settings icon on your Home screen, and then tap General→Reset→Reset All Settings. Resetting iPad settings won't erase your data, but you'll probably have to redo some settings afterwards.

5.Restore your iPad.
Connect your iPad to your computer as though you were about to sync. Then select the iPad in the iTunes source list and click the Restore button on the Summary tab.

Warning! Restoring your iPad erases all your data and media, and resets all your settings. Because your data and media (except contacts, calendar events, and playlists you've created or modified on your iPad since your last sync) still exist on your computer, you shouldn't lose anything. Your next sync will take longer, and you will have to reset any settings you've changed since you got your iPad. But your media and data files shouldn't be affected.
