Create a DVD Slide Show for Your Images In Windows 7

You can create a slide show of images and burn it to a recordable DVD disc for playback on your computer or home or portable DVD player. After you start the slide show, the feature automatically advances and displays each image on the disc as a slide.

By default, each image is displayed for seven seconds, so you can add up to about 800 images to a disc.

How To Create a DVD Slide Show for Your Images

1 Insert a recordable DVD in your DVD burner.

2 Click Start.

3 Click All Programs.

Note: When you click All Programs, the command name changes to Back.

4 Click Windows DVD Maker. The Windows DVD Maker window appears.

How to get the images to play in a continuous loop?

In the DVD Maker window, click Options to display the DVD Options dialog box. Click Play
video in a continuous loop and then click OK.

How do I remove any image from the slide show?

In the Windows DVD Maker window, double-click the Pictures icon to display the individual images. Click the image you do not want and then click Remove items. Note that you can also reorder your images. Click an image and then click either Move up or Move  down.

Windows DVD Maker offers a number of options for displaying slide show images. For example, you can change the duration that each image is displayed (the longer the duration, the fewer images you can place on the disc), and you can specify a transition effect between each image.

You can also “pan and zoom” each image, which gives the slides an animated effect where the “camera” appears to move along (pan) and into and out of (zoom) each image.

10 Type a name for the DVD disc.

11 Click Next. The Ready to Burn DVD window appears.
