With millions of Web sites competing for viewers, how do you get the results you’re looking for? When asked if they are marketing on the Internet, many people say, “Yes, we have a Web site.”

However, choosing a web hosting provider can be as tricky as Search Engine Optimization since there are so many options to choose from. Often this flexibility in choice can lead people to make some poor decisions in terms of who they decide to sign up with.

There are so many free web hosting services on the internet.  Google does not value sites that are hosted with free web hosting plans. It looks cheap  to begin with. If you are hosting your site for business purposes then it’s highly recommended that you use a paid web hosting service.

In this article we will discuss the key points you need to know before you sign up for a web hosting service.

Do your Home Work Steady And Slow:

Don't hurry, be slow. Read reviews about different hosting company. If you are going to buy a new television, you would probably read a few reviews to see whether it is a quality set. The same goes with a web hosting provider – read some reviews or you might find yourself disappointed with the service you end up with. Make use of Google to make a full search of reviews. Read our review on Host Monster.

Your homework does not just stop once you read different reviews, Once you have read what people have said, then do your own research on different web hosting.

How To Choose The Best Web Hosting

Understanding what web hosting provider do can go a long way towards helping you pick the right one. So make sure you read a few articles on the subject and even watch a few videos on YouTube.

Also, Follow Forum Discussions: An active forum indicates a healthy web host service. Follow the forum to be up to date with current issues.

Understand Refund Policies

Sometimes things just don’t work out between you and your web host. However, don’t wait until this point to start asking about refund policies. Always be prepared with this information beforehand.

Talk with Customer Support

Problems can crop up from time to time with a web hosting provider, and this is when good customer service staff comes in handy. Make sure you chat with the web host’s customer support team before making any decisions. This way you’ll know beforehand that you are in safe hands if a problem should arise.

Use Recognised Payment Providers

When registering a domain name with a web hosting provider, make sure you use a recognised payment provider. PayPal is the ideal provider as it prevents the web host from automatically charging your account without your authorization.

Find out About Spam Policies

Some web hosts have a bad reputation. They allow anyone register a domain name as long as they pay. This carelessness has given rise to thousands of malicious websites that spread spam all over the internet. A service with poor anti-spam policies can reflect badly on your site.

Register Your Domain Name Separately

Always register your domain name on a separate service rather than relying on your web host. If relations sour or you decide to switch hosts, you could very well lose your domain name in the process.

Beware of Overselling

Overselling occurs when a web host sells more space than they can adequately host. It’s like when airlines overbook an airplane; some people are going to get squeezed out. With web hosting, your site’s functionality can be compromised if too many people are drawing from the same collective pool of bandwidth.

There is No Such Thing as Unlimited

Many hosts boast about their ability to offer unlimited hosting resources. There is simply no such thing. All hosts utilize a set of limited resources. They only claim it’s unlimited because chances are that the average customer will not fully utilize their allocated bandwidth.

Backup Regularly:

First make sure that the hosting provider you are looking for offer regular backup. Even if they do, don’t rely on your web host to backup your information for you. Take the precautionary step of doing it yourself. If you do a lot of SEO you don’t want to waste your work if you lose your sites!

Never settle for one Web hosting provider. Keep Your Options Open

Always have a backup plan for web hosting. Keep your options open to switch to another provider if you are unsatisfied or if can get a better deal.

Note that, Price is not the determinant factor here. A lot of web hosts cost from 2.95usd/month to 12.95usd/month. Even if its not for business purposes, 10 USD per month by any standard is not much. So lets forget about the pricing and lets focus on the quality of services and others factors that we have discussed here. Good Luck! and don't forget to leave your ideas here as comments.

Sony want to be compatible with Dell and HP. And this new Sony VAIO VPCEH25EN notebook is engineered to meet your entertainment needs at an affordable price.

So far it looks good and can be treated as a very good deal. However, in my personal opinion i wish you should read some points which i think you should consider if you are really serious about a better usability.

I have been using two laptops from Sony, and my personal experience.. the drivers and software's that Sony provides tend to crash. There is no particular place from where you can download ALL of them. (Especially the utility software's). You need to (backup) burn a couple of Dual Layer DVDs and the DVD Drive is useless even with minimum usage, but getting the parts changed (in warranty period) is quick.

  • I feel its very low Hard Disk Capacity. 320 GB (officially), around 280 GB(Bundled), and around 297GB (after formatting)
  • RAM (2GB) is NOT LOW for NORMAL usage, same with Processor.
  • Webcam performs very bad… almost like the olden days VGA Camera.
  • WiFi is poor ( only 1-2MB/s when I was transferring files from another Vaio.
  • The Screen is Awesome!! You won't find better. But the Speakers are pathetic.
  • On the long run, the borders of the screen develop scratches due to folding.
  • The "ASSIST" and "VAIO" keys on the top of my laptop worked only once when i bought this laptop.
  • Headphone and Mic inputs are on the left side. I personally feel better if its in front.
  • No dedicated key for volume. That means, you have to control the volume and brightness using Function “FN” key. But it will work only if your drivers are working perfect.

Overall, If you look style, brand and performance. Sony VAIO VPCEH25EN is good for the current price tag.

Rogue security software, also known as "scareware," is software that appears to be beneficial from a security perspective but provides limited or no security, generates erroneous or misleading alerts, or attempts to lure users into participating in fraudulent transactions.

How does rogue security software get on your computer:

Rogue security software designers create legitimate looking pop-up windows that advertise security update software. These windows might appear on your screen while you surf the web.

The "updates" or "alerts" in the pop-up windows call for you to take some sort of action, such as clicking to install the software, accept recommended updates, or remove unwanted viruses or spyware. When you click, the rogue security software downloads to your computer.

Rogue security software might also appear in the list of search results when you are searching for trustworthy antispyware software, so it is important to protect your computer.

If your PC is infected with such a Rogue security software, for example, Win 7 Anti-Spyware 2011 malware or something similar, let us see how to get rid of it, and free your PC from the awful clutches of this insidious malware (and many others).

Win 7 Anti-Spyware 2011 is just one of many fake antivirus applications like Antivirus Live, Advanced Virus Remover, Internet Security 2010, Security Tool, and others that hold your computer hostage until you pay their ransom money. They tell you that your PC is infected with fake viruses, and prevent you from doing anything to remove them.

This particular virus goes by a lot of names, including XP Antispyware, Win 7 Antispyware, Win 7 Internet Security 2011, Win 7 Guard, Win 7 Security, Vista Internet Security 2011, and many, many others. It’s all the same virus, but renames itself depending on your system and which strain you get infected with.

Fake Antivirus 2009 Messages vary from a fake Google Tips area displayed when visiting the Google homepage saying that "Google recommends you activate Antivirus 2009", to a simple line of text toward the top of your browser telling you that an infection was found.

Remove Win 7 Anti-Spyware 2011 Fake Anti-Virus

If you aren’t familiar with this one, it’s time to take a look at the face of an awful scam. If you are infected, read below on how to remove it.

Once a PC is infected, it’ll display this very official-looking window, which pretends to scan your PC and find things that are infected, but of course, it’s all a lie.

The really crazy thing is that it pops up a very realistic looking Action Center window, but it’s actually the virus.

Remove Win 7 Anti-Spyware 2011 And Fake Anti-Virus

Removing Rogue Fake Antivirus Infections (General Guide)

There’s a couple of steps that you can generally follow to get rid of the majority of rogue antivirus infections, and actually most malware or spyware infections of any type. Here’s the quick steps:

Those are the rules that normally work. Note that there are some malware infections that not only block safe mode, but also prevent you from doing anything at all. In most of such cases, we recommend you backup your files and install Windows from scratch and follow the below steps to protect yourself from rogue security software's in future.

To help protect yourself from rogue security software:

  • Install a firewall and keep it turned on.
  • Use automatic updating to keep your operating system and software up to date.
  • Install antivirus and antispyware software such as Microsoft Security Essentials and keep it updated. For links to other antivirus programs that work with Microsoft, see Microsoft Help and Support List of Antivirus Vendors.
  • If your antivirus software does not include antispyware software, you should install a separate antispyware program such as Windows Defender and keep it updated. (Windows Defender is available as a free download for Windows XP and is included in Windows Vista.)
  • Use caution when you click links in email or on social networking websites.
  • Use a standard user account instead of an administrator account.
  • Familiarize yourself with common phishing scams.

The Games folder is more than just the central repository for games on your computer. In Windows 7, the Games folder offers game updates, statistics, news feeds, and more.

You can Open the Games folder on Windows 7 either by clicking the Start Button and choosing Games on the right side of the Start Menu (or)  by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type games, and then, in the list of results, click Games Explorer.

While the selection of games that come with Windows 7 is pretty decent, you may not want one or more of them installed. Likewise, your PC maker may have chosen to leave some games uninstalled for whatever reason—perhaps to push their own subscription game offerings. In either case, you can customize the games that appear in Games Explorer by installing or uninstalling individual titles so that only the ones you want appear.

To do so, you’ll need to access the Windows Programs applet, which is part of the Control Panel. Open the Start menu and select Control Panel. In the Control Panel window, select Programs and then Turn Windows features on or off. (If the Control Panel is displaying an old-school grid of icons, choose Program and Features and then Turn Windows features on or off.)

Adding and Removing Built-In Games In Windows 7

If you’re already viewing the Games Explorer, you get to this view more quickly by clicking the Tools toolbar menu item and then Programs and Features. Either way, you should now see the Windows Features window, shown in Figure below.

Adding and Removing BuiltIn Games In Windows 7

Figure: Windows Features lets you install and uninstall a subset of Windows features.

Windows Features doesn’t let you uninstall (or install) every single Windows feature, but it does provide a far wider range of options in Windows 7 than it has in several previous Windows versions.

To see which games are available on your system, expand the Games option. As shown in Figure below, you have a number of options, though what you see here will vary depending on which Windows 7 product edition you’re using.

Adding or Removing Built-In Games In Windows 7

Figure: Inside of Windows Features, you can uninstall and install various built-in games.

This will open the Windows Features screen where you can turn different default features on or off. Uncheck the Games folder completely.

To uninstall a particular game, uncheck the box next to its name. Likewise, you can install a missing game by checking the box next to its name. Once you’ve made your choices, click OK and Windows 7 will make the changes. These changes will be reflected in Games Explorer when the process is complete.

While you can install and uninstall any built-in games, you cannot uninstall Games Explorer. Instead, you can choose to hide it from the Games Explorer.

Microsoft announced the availability of a new SkyDrive app for Windows Phone and iPhone. The SkyDrive application follows a recent overhaul of Microsoft’s SkyDrive cloud storage service. Microsoft introduced HTML5 upload, improved sharing and drag and drop functionality in its SkyDrive web app last month.

The applications are identical in features and provide access to SkyDrive folders. Windows Phone and iPhone users can browse their SkyDrive folders, share links to folders or files, delete files and create folders from within the application. Photos can also be uploaded to SkyDrive from the apps with their original resolution.

Microsoft’s approach follows a number of iOS applications, including Bing, Messenger, OneNote and Xbox LIVE.

The software giant is clearly broadening its array of applications to rival platforms whilst keeping Windows Phone customers happy. We managed to secure an early hands on with the Windows Phone version (see video below) and it’s clear that the app is designed to be a companion to Windows Phone. Word, Excel and other Office documents will open natively from the SkyDrive app into the Office hub of Windows Phone.

SkyDrive app Available For Windows Phone and iPhone

One of the best features is being able to store full resolution images from a Windows Phone camera straight into SkyDrive, this functionality is included by default but the image is scaled down.

SkyDrive app Available For Windows Phone and iPhone

SkyDrive application highlights include:

  • Browse entire SkyDrive – Users can now see all folders and files (of all types) to allow them to share and manage their data.
  • Share any SkyDrive folder or file – Users can now pick folders or files to share from their mobile. The apps provide a link directly to the content.
  • Manage SkyDrive content – Users can now organize files and folders and create new folders or delete files and folders.

The latest SkyDrive mobile application is available in every country and region where Windows Phone is offered. Also the iPhone version is available in 32 languages.

Hard Disk Speed is often measured by Transfer rate, operation rate under various conditions and Rotational speed is measured in RPM.

Transfer rate often considered to be the most important, is measured in MB/S. The burst rate is the interface speed, at which data already in the buffer can be transferred, but this has little effect in real world tests. The sequential rate, is the transfer of contiguous data from disk.

Rotational speed is measured in RPM (and higher RPM means lower rotational latency, as the required sector comes around faster).

Short for Revolutions Per Minute, RPM is used to help determine the access time on computer hard disk drives. RPM is a measurement of how many complete revolutions a computer's hard disk drive makes in a single minute. The higher the RPM, the faster the data will be accessed.

For example, if you were comparing two hard disk drives, one with 5400 RPM and another with 7200 RPM, the hard disk drive with a 7200 RPM will be capable of accessing data much faster than the 5400 RPM drive.

However, it is also important to note that a 5400 RPM drive will be much cheaper than a 7200 RPM drive.

While it may not be a noticeable speed difference when loading small files, the RPM of a hard disk drive can make a dramatic difference when loading large files or several hundred or thousand files. It is always recommended to get at least 7200 RPM drive.

RPM can also refer to the revolutions per minute a computer case fan or heatsink fan spins at. Generally, with higher RPM, the fan will move more air or remove more heat from the computer or processor. However, as you increase the RPM of a fan, you will also notice an increase in noise or decibel (dBa).

Short for RPM package Manager, RPM is an installation and packaging tool used with many different Linux variants to install Internet downloads. RPM uses the .RPM file extension when creating a package.

There is also another speed measure for HDD that is the operation rate under various conditions, this includes both seek and transfer. However, this is less important than the RPM.

People Tags are the most interesting and potentially the most  productive way to tag your photos in Windows Live Photo Gallery.

People tags help you identify the people in your photos and then create tags for each. So you might create a separate people tag for each member of your family, each friend, and any other individuals you care about. Once you do this, it’s a breeze to find the pictures you really care about.

Thanks to improvements to Windows Explorer in Windows 7, you can also add or edit metadata to photos and other files directly from the shell. To do so, select one or more image files in Explorer and then note the Tags, Rating, and Title entries in the Details pane (The Title entry is the same as Caption in Photo Gallery). You can edit these items directly from this location if you’d like.

How People tags works with Windows:

First, you need some people tags to know how it works. If you have logged on via Windows Live ID, you may already have a number of people tags, pre-made and ready to go.

When signing into your Windows Live ID account, you will see a number of people tags ready to roll in the Navigation pane. There will be one called “Me (your name)” and then one or more groups, depending on how you may have configured contacts via Windows Live People, Windows Live Contacts, or Windows Live Messenger.

Or if you’d like to manually create people tags that exist separately from any contacts (say, for children or others who are not part of your Windows Live “network”), you can create one or more people tags right here in Photo Gallery. These people will be added to a new group under People Tags called Other People.

To create the first people tag, click the Add a People Tag as shown in Figure below and type the name you want to tag. Then, repeat this for each people tag you’d like to make.

Creating And Using People Tags In Windows 7

The People Tags section in the Info pane also integrates with your Windows Live contacts, so you might use this instead if you’re a Windows Live guy or gal: click the Add People Tags link and start typing; as you do, contacts from Windows Live contacts auto-fill so you can easily find who you’re looking for.

Adding People Tags to Photos

Next, you can add a people tag to a photo. It’s best to do this while viewing the photo, not in thumbnail view. Double-click on the photo you’d like to tag. Then, click the Tag Someone link in the Info pane, below People Tags. When you do so, an Add People Tag balloon help window appears, asking you to click on a face in the photo. You can either click in the center of someone’s face, or you can draw a selection rectangle around a face using the mouse cursor.

When you do, the Tag Someone palette pops up, letting you choose which person it is from the list of people tags you’ve created.

Creating And Using People Tags In Windows

There are a number of other fun things you can do with people tags. First, you can identify yourself using the “That’s me!” link that you’ll see in the People Tags section of the Info pane when a single photo is selected. When you click this, Photo Gallery will attempt to put a selection rectangle in front of each face in the photo. Click the one that’s you, and the people tag that was automatically created for your Windows Live ID will be applied.

You can also use a facial recognition feature to automatically identify when there are people in pictures. To use this feature, open a photo in Photo Gallery that includes at least one person. Then, click the Identify link next to Person found in the Info pane.

Photo Gallery will put a selection rectangle over each person’s face, giving you the opportunity to tag them.

The HTC Salsa joins the ChaCha in a bid to treat young Android users to as much Facebook as they can handle. The little blue button makes an appearance again, this time in a more familiar context. While the ChaCha takes its QWERTY keyboard off the beaten path, the Salsa is a typical Android package. It’s got a solid build and seems like a well spec'd midrange smartphone - an HTC Wildfire S for Facebookers.

The Salsa has something the ChaCha doesn't: a family tree. The Salsa is part of the new generation of midrange phones by HTC, along with the likes of the Wildfire S. But calling it a Facebook-centric Wildfire S would be oversimplifying or just plain wrong.

As a matter of fact, HTC went on to give the Salsa more than just that tiny Facebook button. It tops the Wildfire S in terms of screen size and processor clock speed, and throws in a few features that the Wildfire S didn't bother with - like video calls, HD video and web Flash support.

HTC Salsa Advantages And Disadvantages

HTC Salsa Advantages : Let's take a look at the complete feature list and the possible deal breakers, Some Key features of HTC Salsa. The list below is few of the important features of HTC Salsa.

  • 3.4" 16M-color capacitive TFT touchscreen of HVGA (320 x 480) resolution, Gorilla glass
  • Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense
  • 800 MHz CPU, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7230 chipset
  • 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM
  • 5 MP autofocus camera with LED flash and geotagging
  • D1 video recording @ 30fps
  • Smart dialing, voice dialing
  • Front facing camera, video calls
  • Compact aluminum unibody
  • HTC Locations app
  • HTCSense.com integration
  • HTC Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • Ultra-fast boot times (if you don’t remove battery)

As a mid-range smartphone, the Salsa will not set your expectations too high. But users who know what to expect will not be disappointed. The unibody design, the hallmark build quality and the latest Android are all in the deal.

If some one has to spend for the price of this phone, at least they need the Desire S processor

    • 1 GHz Scorpion processor,
    • Adreno 205 GPU,
    • Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon

Here are some of the major drawbacks of HTC Salsa

  • Below-par screen sunlight legibility
  • Camera not the best we’ve seen
  • microSD slot under the battery cover, not (quite) hot-swappable
  • No HD video recording
  • Battery Life is not too good. Some times you need to charge more than twice a day.
  • No GPS Support
  • Little Expensive when compared with the same rage of mobiles from other brands.

Now the display, a 3.4 inch screen is very good but on the other hand the 480 x 320 resolution does not deserve this much price. I hope the display technology will be upgraded to S-LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors supporting 480 x 800 pixels. We have no idea, but it is guessed that the phone has adobe flash support.

HTC ChaCha has msm7227 Chipset 600 MHZ CPU. Where SALSA has 800 MHZ CPU. In addition, salsa will also be able to handle .AVI and .XVID files. And probably, HTC SALSA  will have an adreno 205 GPU and will probably feature the msm7230 chipset.

HTC Salsa | Mobile With Dedicated Facebook Key

Over all, HTC SALSA looks good and Silky. Having a Facebook dedicated shortcut key is awesome. And it also comes with a front camera and face detection.

HTC SALSA have built in Facebook chat. we will have easy access to all Facebook applications. Almost like you have on a computer. Also, when you take a pic the phone will ask you if you want to publish it on Facebook right away. By the way, this will be a great phone for Facebook addicted.

Never forget, it even has a Facebook chat widget. Actually, Facebook button (on that beautiful aluminum body) really makes the phone lame so  really.  This Facebook dedicated key idea wont be the best for most of the users. With Android you can just create a shortcut or even a widget and have even easier access that way. That button looks ridiculous on an otherwise pretty stylish phone. In fact, a dedicated Camera button can be much better.

HTC SALSA has 1520 MAH battery while other high-end models from HTC are using 1230mAh or 1400-1450MAH batteries.

End note: It's a neat little smartphone with a thing for Facebook, one that many are getting ready to befriend.

A Wireless router is a device that performs the functions of a router but also includes the functions of a wireless access point and a network switch. They are commonly used to allow access to the Internet or a computer network without the need for a cabled connection.

Thus, a Wireless router can function in a wired LAN (local area network), a wireless only LAN (WLAN), or a mixed wired/wireless network.

To make the most of their security planning, enterprises need to focus on threats that pose the greatest risk.

Most current wireless routers have the following characteristics. Also we will see how to Set Up a Wireless Router or WiFi Access Point:

  • LAN ports which function in the same manner as the ports of a network switch
  • A WAN port to connect to a wide area network, typically one with Internet access. External destinations are accessed using this port. If it is not used, many functions of the router will be bypassed.
  • A wireless antenna allows connections from other wireless devices (NICs (network interface cards), wireless repeaters, wireless access points, and wireless bridges, for example), usually using the Wi-Fi standard.

Some wireless routers also include a DSL or cable modem in addition to their other components.

Wireless router or access point brings convenience because you’re not tethered to a wired connection. Setting up a wireless router or access point depends on the software that comes with the router or access point.

Warning: Wireless networks offer great potential for exploitation for two reasons; they use the airwaves for communication, and wireless-enabled laptops are ubiquitous. Wireless networks are vulnerable in a myriad of ways, some of the most likely problems being rogue access points (APs) and employee use of mobile devices without appropriate security precautions, but malicious hacking attempts and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks are certainly possible as well.

Wireless connections are more complicated to set up than wired connections. You’re basically setting up a radio transmitter that broadcasts to little radios attached to your PCs. You need to worry about signal strength, finding the right signal, and even entering passwords to keep outsiders from listening in.

How To Set Up a Wireless Router or WiFi Access Point

Wireless transmitters, known as Wireless Access Points (WAPs), come either built into your router or plugged into one of your router’s ports. The setup software is different on every model, but it requires you to set up these three things:

  • Network name (SSID): Enter a short, easy-to-remember name here to identify your particular wireless network. Later, when connecting to the wireless network with your computer, you’ll select this same name to avoid accidentally connecting with your neighbor’s wireless network.
  • Infrastructure: Choose Infrastructure instead of the alternative, Ad Hoc.
  • Security: This option encrypts your data as it flies through the air. Turn it on using the recommended settings.

Some routers include an installation program for changing these settings; other routers contain built-in software that you access with Windows’ own Web browser.

As you enter settings for each of the three things, write them on a piece of paper. You need to enter these same three settings when setting up your PC’s wireless connection.

The Nokia N9, the consumer-oriented MeeGo phone, got plenty of attention but all the N950 got was a text file detailing the differences between it and the N9. Sill, we know many MeeGo enthusiasts will prefer to get their hands on the developer-exclusive N950 than the touch screen-only N9.

The long awaited MeeGo (The Nokia N9)  device turns has a brother - the Nokia N950 is a developer's platform running MeeGo and packs a QWERTY keyboard along with similar specs to that of the N9.

The Nokia N950 was rumored to be the official MeeGo handset for this year. The N950 has an aluminum body, which is always a plus and the slide-out QWERTY keyboard will draw the eye of heavy texters. The screen is a 4" TFT unit with FWVGA resolution (rather than 3.9" FWVGA AMOLED).

When Nokia announced the N950 MeeGo dev kit, they did it without any fanfare - without photos even. Now that injustice has been fixed and the aluminum-clad device is available to gawk at in a gallery of leaked official images.

Nokia N9 Vs Nokia N950

The images don't seem to be finalized (one of them actually has a label saying "This will be replaced with flash thingy") and we only get a glimpse of the QWERTY keyboard.

The 8MP camera on the Nokia N950 has "very similar image quality" to the Carl Zeiss branded camera on the N9 but the camera units are different. The front facing camera is in a different location but the same module is used for both Nokia N9 and Nokia N950.

Other differences include the lack of NFC module in the N950 and its digital compass isn't as accurate and the battery is slightly smaller (1320mAh vs. 1450mAh).

Nokia didn’t specify a release date or price for the N950 model. Still, MeeGo enthusiasts should be ecstatic about this - two MeeGo devices (Nokia N9 and Nokia N950) even though Nokia promised only one.

Nokia N9 Vs Nokia N950 3

Indeed Nokia tried to introduce N-gage, but they dropped almost immediately N-gage platform mobiles. Then they made it just a feature in N class devices which you agree were the most expensive and not many would buy phone just to play with it, as it happens now with iPhone and android devices.

For the N9, regardless how cool it may look or how powerful it may be. The reason is simple: MicroSIM! As for now, many provider doesn't offer MicroSIM cards, therefore, this phone would be of no use on many network. I truly think that integrating MicroSIM is still a bit too early since many big carriers still don't offer them.

One can find that on YouTube. It has video of how to convert sim to MicroSim for iPad, that two uses microsim. Read more: http://www.bench3.com/2011/06/advantages-and-disadvantages-of-nokia.html#ixzz1QS5mXUaH

Even if you not a Nokia fan, you have to admit that this is one nice looking phone. Look forward to see such design being implemented with Windows Phone 7 from Nokia.

The software on the Nokia N950 isn't finalized as on date and won't get an Over-the-Air update (but developers can flash it manually). Still, MeeGo is a very flexible platform and we're guessing it won't be long until someone ports the software from the N9 to the N950.

Developer-only probably means it is in very limited supply, and you have to register on some site and start to develop applications, or something like that in order to get it. but how i do not know.

This Development handset has scratching few heads. Is it being released to encourage the Average Joes to start programming? Or is it simply what Nokia make it out to be, a joint consumer, testing device? Or is this simply a phone that is in development and even Nokia don't know what the finished product will be?

Nokia N9 Vs Nokia N950 1

Also there are no photos of the back of the Nokia N950. We were hearing some rumors that the N950 actually packs a 12MP camera (plus there's this image from the leaked promo video from a while back) but we didn’t get anything solid to confirm this - so we were hoping a view of the back will finally settle this dispute.

Normally, you sign a (paper) check to authenticate its validity to the recipient (and, in due course, to your bank). Similarly, you can apply a digital signature to a Word document to authenticate its validity.

A digital signature is a mathematical scheme for demonstrating the authenticity of a digital message or document. A valid digital signature gives a recipient reason to believe that the message was created by a known sender, and that it was not altered in transit. Digital signatures are commonly used for software distribution, financial transactions, and in other cases where it is important to detect forgery or tampering.

Digital signatures can be used to authenticate the source of messages. When ownership of a digital signature secret key is bound to a specific user, a valid signature shows that the message was sent by that user. The importance of high confidence in sender authenticity is especially obvious in a financial context.

Apply a Digital Signature To Word Documents

The following article will explain you how to apply a Digital Signature to the word document.

To apply a digital signature to a document, follow these steps:

  • Finalize the document, and save any unsaved changes to it.
  • Click the Office Button, click or highlight Prepare, and then click Add A Digital Signature. Word displays the Sign dialog box, shown here.
  • In the Purpose For Signing This Document text box, type a description of why you’re signing the document.
  • If your computer has two or more digital IDs installed, and the Signing As group box shows the wrong signature, click the Change button, choose the correct certificate in the Select Certificate dialog box, and then click the OK button.
  • Click the Sign button. Word closes the Sign dialog box, applies the digital signature, and then displays the Signature Confirmation message box, shown here, warning you that changing the document will render your signature invalid.
  • Select the Don’t Show This Message Again check box if you can dispense with this message box in future, and then click the OK button. Word closes the message box and displays the Signatures pane, shown here.
  • Close the document. (You don’t need to save changes—Word has already saved them for you.)

Although messages may often include information about the entity sending a message, that information may not be accurate.

A digital ID you create yourself via the Create A Digital ID dialog box is useful only for testing. It has no authentication and is worthless in the real world.

The Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio is a phone of compromise. If you’re looking to give smartphones a try, you may be willing to live without a killer screen and a brilliant camera. The Gio will be a good choice for newbies or budget upgraders, if the price is right.

It’s a decent offer for the midrange: with a good enough version of Android (2.2.1 Froyo), good enough screen, a powerful 800MHz processor and a great connectivity set, ranging from 3G to GPS. There’s little to complain about, save for the imaging skills perhaps.

Once you have purchased Samsung Gio, of course you need to purchase a memory card, because internal memory is only 158 MB and it wont be enough. Minimum 16GB (ad cost almost 30 euro a good one) of memory is required for these generations.

Here’s the rest of what the Galaxy Gio has to offer.

Key features Of Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660

  • Quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G support
  • 3.2" 16M-color TFT capacitive touchscreen of HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) resolution, multi-touch
  • 800MHz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset; 278MB of RAM available to the user
  • Android 2.2.1 (Froyo) with TouchWiz 3.0 UI
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n with Mobile Hotspot functionality
  • GPS with A-GPS connectivity; Digital compass
  • 3.2 MP autofocus camera with geo-tagging and face-detection
  • QVGA@15fps video
  • microSD slot (up to 32GB, 2GB in box)
  • Accelerometer and proximity sensor
  • DNSe sound enhancement
  • Document viewer
  • Smart dialing
  • Swype text input
  • Web browser is fast even under EDGE network,
  • Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660 Advantages And Disadvantages

The Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio obviously isn’t a camera-centric device. QVGA video and 3.2 MP stills don’t go a long way. But as a smartphone it has what it takes to be taken seriously. There isn't a shutter for the camera (and sometimes I think it's annoying). The sound from Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio isn't really good. So this is not recommended for you who like listen to music. Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio Battery finishes with in 6 hours.

If the screen was 1 inch more (3.2' to 3.3') the Samsung S5660 Galaxy

Gio will be a nice and hard choice for mid level smartphone on the market to buy.

Once you have purchased Samsung Gio, of course you need to purchase a memory card, because internal memory is only 158 MB and it wont be enough. Minimum 16GB (ad cost almost 30 euro a good one) of memory is required for these generations.

Also missing a Native Divx Player. So you have to arrange to buy some player by the android market and maybe if you lucky it works.

Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio and LG Optimus One compete in the same price level, almost identical in price to be honest. LG has slightly slower processing, compared to overclocked processing in Gio/Ace.

Main disadvantages
  • Poor video recording
  • No shutter key for the camera
  • No Adobe Flash support in the web browser. You need to use YouTube applications or any other such apps to view flash
  • No ambient light sensor for auto brightness
  • No DivX/Xvid video support out of the box

Importance Of Gingerbread Update:

If you have recently bought this phone, get to nearest mobile mall. And get your mobile updated to 2.3 Version. because it has 800MHZ for 2.3. Then when we install (free) application, note that not all applications are free. Its type of Adware so that the company gets its payment through advertisements which gets on during your gameplay or on application usage. So this advertisement get added up and one day it butches up the mobile. So gingerbread is good at this as it blocks the advertisements.

It have been mentioned in the ginger bread highlights that it has better power  management system. just wait for the release of Android 2.3 for Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio.

If too many applications are running in the background of the mobile, there is a automatic way to stop background running apps through advance task killer. Go to the settings and try to use auto kill apps along with different timing execute or I hope you will figure it out.

      The battery life:

If you have this mobile, you will love it except for the battery life and it does shutdown very often. Yes, the battery drains up so fast, you need to charge it every 5 hours, that's without wifi on, just imagine how fast it drains up when the wifi is on.

Note that, Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio battery needs at least 3 hours to be fully charged. Also you can check the battery status with the help of clock icon in the menu during charging . It will guide you the status.

If you going to use your Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio only for calls. It will be stand for 4-5 days. If you play songs and some games for some hours than it will give you back up for 1.5 days.

Well there are some tricks to get more & more life out of your battery.

    • 1. Reduce the brightness will help you a lot.

    • 2. Turn off 3G services and switch to 2G network.

    • 3. Do not install so many applications because lot of apps keep running in background.

    • 4. Try to get "Advance Task Killer" to stop unwanted apps.

    • 5. To not use live wallpapers. It'll eat your battery quickly.

    • 6. Turn on the wifi when you need it only.

        • I am sure it will help you or lets hope for a new battery for Samsung in future.

Remember, battery performance has been compromised at the cost of good display and typical Android 3G set specifications. Overall it is a nice set provided you keep the data network off and put on when the need arises and not all the time.

Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660 Advantages And Disadvantages

They are a better bargain than the upper-smartphone and find their way into people’s pockets a lot easier. With that goal in mind, the Galaxy Gio must be an all-round pleaser of a phone.

If you want a high end features smartphone then i suggest you to buy this Samsung Galaxy Gio, that's if you don't mind to charge it every 5 hours. But overall Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio is good for its price.

If you are worried about sensitive data in your Microsoft Word document you can encrypt or (and) password protect the document to keep it secure. In case if you are not opting for password protection and encryption, It is good that you Remove Sensitive or Personal Information From Word Document.

This is very useful if you have to store your documents in a shared location, such as a network folder or even on home computer so that you can protect your personal privacy to avoid physical or financial jeopardy.

In the past few years, several major governments have embarrassed themselves by releasing files that inadvertently contained information they weren’t supposed to, such as hidden revision marks or metadata in Word documents.

Before you distribute a document, you may want to remove sensitive or personal information from it for security.

Word’s Document Inspector helps to make sure you don’t join the governments in the red-face parade.

To run the Document Inspector and remove such information, follow these steps:

        1. If the document contains unsaved changes, click the Save button on the Quick Access Toolbar (or press CTRL-S) to save it.

How To Remove Sensitive or Personal Information From Word Document

        2. Click the Office Button, highlight or click Prepare, and then click Inspect Document. Word displays the Document Inspector (see Figure below).

Remove Sensitive or Personal Information From Word Document

        3. Select the check box for each type of data that you want to scan the document for:

        • Comments, Revisions, Versions, And Annotations These four items are easy to miss when you’re finalizing a document, as revision marks can be hidden, and comments and annotations may appear only as hard-to-see markers in the text.

Versions are a bit different: Word 2007 doesn’t support versions, but a Word document created in an earlier version of Word may contain them.

A version in this sense is a different edit of the same document. You can store multiple versions in the same document file and switch from one to another.

        • Document Properties And Personal Information: A document can contain information such as your name, your manager’s name, and custom document properties.
        • Custom XML Data: The document may contain XML tags and mappings that you don’t want to share outside your company.
        • Headers, Footers, And Watermarks: If you’re working in Draft view or Outline view, it’s easy to forget to check the headers or footers in a document. You may also need to remove a watermark such as DRAFT before distributing a document.
        • Hidden Text: Hidden text is often useful for hiding boilerplate items that don’t apply to the current document, for inserting extra information that can be added only if required, and other such purposes. Normally, it’s best to remove all hidden text before distributing a document.

Use the Document Inspector to identify hidden content or metadata that you might want to remove before distributing a document.

        4. Click the Inspect button. Word inspects the document for the items whose check boxes you selected, and displays the results, providing a Remove All button for each category found.

        5. Click any of the Remove All buttons to remove all instances of those items.

        6. If necessary, click the Reinspect button to reinspect the document.

        7. Click the Close button. Word closes the Document Inspector dialog box.

        8. Double-check your document to make sure that removing the items hasn’t had unintended consequences. If all is well, save the document.

Microsoft Word documents can often unintentionally contain confidential or embarrassing information, because the document metadata can include tracked changes, comments and author information that you don’t want clients and partners to see. It is best practice that you run Document Inspector when finalizing your Word documents. Also on a safer side, Do regularly encrypt Word documents.

One of the worst events you will experience is a computer that won ’ t boot. An even worse experience is discovering that there is no recent backup for that computer.

In such case, here are the summarizes all of the Windows 7 utilities and options that can be used to assist in performing system recovery.

Event Viewer: If the Windows 7 operating system can be loaded through Normal or Safe mode, one of the first places to look for hints about the problem is Event Viewer. Event Viewer displays System, Security, and Application logs.

You can also find additional information on the following links:

Safe mode: This is generally your starting point for system recovery. Safe mode loads the absolute minimum of services and drivers that are needed to boot Windows 7. If you can load Safe mode, you may be able to troubleshoot devices or services that keep Windows 7 from loading normally.

The Windows 7 advanced start-up options can be used to troubleshoot errors that keep Windows 7 from successfully booting. Screen Shot below shows the Advanced Boot Options  screen.

5 Best Windows 7 Recovery Techniques

To access the Windows 7 advanced startup options, start or reboot the computer and press the F8 key after the firmware POST process, but before Windows 7 is loaded. This will bring up the Advanced Boot Options menu, which offers numerous options for booting Windows 7.

Last Known Good Configuration: From the Windows 7 advanced startup options, you can also opt for the Last Known Good Configuration. This option can help if you made changes to your computer and are now having problems. Last Known Good Configuration is an Advanced Boot Options menu item that you can select during startup. It loads the configuration that was used the last time the computer booted successfully. This option will not help if you have hardware errors.

Startup Repair tool: This tool can restore system files from the Windows 7 media. This option will not help if you have hardware errors.

Backup and Restore Center: You should use this utility to safeguard your computer. Through the Backup utility, you can back up and restore personal files on your computer. You can also create and restore images of your entire computer.

System Restore: System Restore is used to create known checkpoints of your system’s configuration. In the event that your system becomes misconfigured, you can restore the system configuration to an earlier checkpoint.

What ever we have discussed here is the troubleshooting steps we can try to make the system boot and running again.

However, the first step in preparing for disaster recovery is to expect that a disaster will happen at some point and take proactive measures to plan your recovery before the failure occurs. Follow this link, to find out some of the preparations you can make that can help you during disaster.

The USB 2.0 specification was released in April 2000 and was ratified by the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) at the end of 2001.

Today, USB is enjoying tremendous success in the marketplace, with most peripheral vendors around the globe developing products to USB 2.0 specification. All new PCs come with one or more USB ports on the box. In fact, USB has become a key enabler of the Easy PC Initiative, an industry initiative led by Intel and Microsoft to make PCs easier to use.

Although most USB devices can connect to your computer with a USB 1.1 or 2.0 port, you won't see optimal performance without the hi-speed 2.0 connection with few latest devices or for storage needs.

You can check which levels of USB ports your Windows computer offers, and you can verify that your hi-speed USB 2.0 ports are enabled.

Enable High-speed USB On Your PC Find If Your PCs USB Ports Are Level 1.1 (slower) or 2.0 (faster)

        Checking USB Port Levels

        • On your host computer, right-click the My Computer icon and select Manage.

Sometimes you may need to click Start to access the My Computer icon.

        • Click the Device Manager icon.
        • Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers entry.

If Universal Serial Bus Controllers is not listed, there is a problem with the USB controller or the USB controller is not enabled in the computer's BIOS. Please contact the computer or card manufacturer for updated drivers and/or for information on how to fix or enable the USB controller.

        • Examine the expanded entries under Universal Serial Bus Controllers. (Manufacturer names are usually listed in front of each listed controller or root hub. The controller or root hub names indicate their type and USB level.)
        • If you see names that include text such as "Enhanced Host Controller" or "USB 2.0 Root Hub Device," then the computer has USB 2.0 ports.
        • If the names include text such as Universal Host Controller," "Open Host Controller," or "USB Root Hub (Device),", then the computer has USB 1.1 ports.

Verifying Hi-Speed USB Ports Are Enabled

Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports run at speeds up to 480Mbps. USB 1.1 ports run at either full-speed 12Mb/s or low-speed 1.5Mb/s. If you use Windows XP and try to plug a device designed for use with Hi-Speed USB into a regular USB (1.1) port or hub, you'll see an error message similar to the ones listed below:

        • The Generic USB Hub is a HI-SPEED USB device and will function at reduced speed when plugged into a non-HI-SPEED port.
        • HI-SPEED USB Device Plugged into non-HI-SPEED USB Hub. A HI-SPEED USB device is plugged into a non-HI-SPEED USB hub.

This can be an unpleasant surprise if you thought you had Hi-Speed USB ports available. Unlike USB 1.1 ports, Hi-Speed USB ports sometimes require some effort to configure in both BIOS and the port's driver.

If your system uses an Intel chipset that provides Hi-Speed USB ports, you need to enable the High-Speed USB support option in the USB Configuration submenu to receive Hi-Speed USB 2.0 performance.

Follow This Steps To enable USB 2.0  (Reference: Intel Mother Boards) :

        • Reboot (or power on) system.
        • Press F2 during POST (Power-on Self Test) to enter system BIOS setup program. (Sometimes, you may require to enter a different key or combination of keys to enter the BIOS Setup Menu, watch the post boot screen for the right key to enter BIOS Setup.)
        • Select ADVANCED menu using arrow (left and right) keys.
        • Select USB Configuration and press <enter>.
        • Enable High-speed USB.
        • Press F10 to Save & Exit BIOS setup program. (Hi-Speed USB 2.0 controllers are now enabled and your operating system should detect New Hardware during the next normal boot cycle and you will be able to work at High-Speed.
        • Note: USB 3.0 specification was published on 12 November 2008. Its main goals were to increase the data transfer rate (up to 5 Gbit/s), to decrease power consumption, to increase power output, and to be backwards-compatible with USB 2.0. USB 3.0 includes a new, higher speed bus called SuperSpeed in parallel with the USB 2.0 bus. For this reason, the new version is also called SuperSpeed. The first USB 3.0 equipped devices were presented in January 2010.

Few More Discussions about Motorola Quench XT5 XT502:

The screen does not look attractive and beautiful, but it is acceptable. But design wise it cant be said how Motorola Quench XT5 XT502 is, as different user will have different opinion on its look.

The screen resolution is not that high, but it is ok as low screen resolution results in longer battery life.

Motorola Quench XT5 XT502 will be really faster than what you can expect for its price.

But it has very small internet memory for you to use, that is you can hardly install 7 Android Applications on to the internal memory. If you don’t mind that, it will be fine as long as you can switch to external memory.

I love this phone! It's very easy to use, yet still looks impressive and stylish. One small problem though is I keep on running out of storage capacity when I install more than about 7 or so of the Android applications. No problem, we can install applications onto the memory card. Surely there must be a way.

All in all Motorola has a good solution for those who need an Android smartphone at the lowest price, but with good features. I like the model as it is easy to use, so that many people will be more than happy to have it. Excellent value for money. Touch experience is awesome and Headset and loudspeaker sound is good.
